UT Arlington scored another in the bottom half to make it 4-3. In the fifth inning, the Texans would extend their lead with a single up the middle by Kayla Wallace bringing home Tristyn Trull. However, the Lady Mavericks would get two back in the bottom of the second to make it 3-2. Tarleton's offense would take full advantage of UTA's miscues in the field and score three runs in the top of the first inning. Game one began with a 10-7 victory over the Lady Mavericks. TARLETON SOFTBALL swept their series against UT Arlington, going 3-0 and clinching their berth into the WAC Tournament, which will be played May 10-13 in Phoenix. The weekend part of the series will be Bark at the Park days, presented by Dapper Dog, for fans to bring their pups out to support the Texans. Baseball hosts Grand Canyon in their three-game series Friday through Sunday. Saturday will be the final regular season game for the Texans so it will be Senior Day, as well as Bark at the Park presented by Dapper Dog. Austin in their series with a doubleheader on Friday and the series finale on Saturday. There will be foods trucks in attendance for fans before they go into the complexes and take advantage of the deals Sodexo has for brisket nachos and drinks. before Softball's first pitch, then hop on stage again from 5:15 p.m. Sand & Gravel for all fans in attendance prior to the games beginning. South Texas Tweek will be performing on a stage provided by U.S. Both teams return to Stephenville for three-game series that begin with an unforgettable Cinco de Mayo event on Friday. The week begins on the road when Softball travels to take on Houston Christian and Baseball heads to College Station to get a taste of the SEC against Texas A&M. It wouldn't be May without Cinco de Mayo, and it certainly wouldn't be Tarleton if there weren't sports involved.
